🚨 SAVE THE DATE 🚨
The congress organized by the Charpentier promotion will take place on December 7th.
It will explore the microbial adaptation and will take place at Joseph Aiguier campus.
Yesterday was our Microbiology Master's Congress ✨🦠
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the speakers, academic coordinators, and all participants for contributing to this enriching learning experience at the Microbiology Congress 2023!
Excited to unveil the poster and the logo for our upcoming Master's Microbiology Congress ! Join us "Behind the scenes" of microbial adaptation.🔬
Save the date, and let the exploration begin !
Susan Gotesman and her team at NCI study the mechanisms of gene expression regulation through energy-dependent proteolysis and sRNA. Through her work, we owe her a large part of our knowledge on transcriptional regulation, particularly on RpoS and its regulatory sRNA.
We are delighted to announce that Susan Gotesman will do us the honor of presenting her keynote at 3 P.M. : "Coming and Going: Inducing and Reversing the E. coli General Stress Response".
With his team at the Cochin Institute, Ivan studies how phenotypic and genetic variations are generated in bacterial populations, particularly in response to environmental stresses, but also the molecular mechanisms that drive the evolution of persistence and antibiotic resistance
If you want to help us and take part in our project in your own way, it is now possible thanks to @Leetchi !

Today, first meeting of the Charpentier promotion with the godfather of the congress, Tâm Mignot at @lcb_officiel ! We thank him for his advices and keep an ear out, more details will be available soon !
Tam Mignot and his team investigates, from a molecular and evolutionary perspective, the mechanisms that enable bacteria to interact as multicellular organisms with the model bacterium M. xanthus. The excellence of his work has earned him the CNRS Silver Medal this year. (2/2)
We are pleased to announce that Tâm Mignot, the director of @lcb_officiel is the godfather of our congress. We are grateful to him for his mentoring. (1/2)
Once again, as a new year begins, it signifies a new master's congress. We are thrilled to introduce you to the members of the M2 MIF promotion "Emmanuelle Charpentier" for 2023/2024.
More details about the congress will be available soon !
