Mueller’s report describes a consistent effort by the president to use his office to obstruct or otherwise corruptly impede the Russian election interference investigation because it put his interests at risk.
Why would the Senate leave town this weekend before voting to reopen the government?! Countless federal workers aren't being paid. People are worrying about how to pay bills. Congress could act now to fix it if Mitch McConnell would just take up a bill. Let's stay here and do it!
Vice President Mike Pence is getting a raise this week. So are Betsy DeVos, Wilbur Ross, Mick Mulvaney and Kirstjen Nielsen. All while 800,000 federal workers aren't getting paid.

CT suffered the worst human tragedy imaginable at Newtown. The continuing tragedy is that we are not alone. We join Pittsburgh in loss and grief, and I pray, in our resolve to end the scourge of hate and gun violence. @CAGVNews@NewtownAction@MomsDemand@Everytown@Bradybuzz
This barbaric and senseless act of hate exemplifies why we must continue to confront and condemn anti-semitism. My heart goes out to the congregants at Tree of Life Synagogue who were in prayer when attacked and the law enforcement officers who walked into the fire this morning.
An attack on the Jewish community is an attack on every single person of faith in this country. I know deeply the pain this community is going through, and I refuse to accept this as normal.
Words cannot express my sadness at the horrific news out of Pittsburgh. No one should feel unsafe in their place of worship. This is something sacred to every American. Sending my love and support to those reeling from this tragedy.
Today’s news from Pittsburgh is horrifying. It’s clear that nothing will change until we empower actual leaders to effect meaningful policy reforms in Washington. It’s past time to put people in charge who will actually do something to preempt future tragedies.
The tragic shootings this week in Louisville & Pittsburgh remind us that our politicians’ words matter, especially in a nation so divided by political and personal differences. I’ve always made a point of sitting down and having thoughtful, mature conversations with people... (1)
Trump wants gunmen armed w semi-automatic rifles in every single public place - every school, church, synagogue, shopping mall, restaurant.
The rest of us want to keep dangerous weapons away from dangerous people.
His idea works in action movies. Our idea works in real life.
Our thoughts are with the Tree of Life Congregation, members of law enforcement, the entire community, and everyone across our country who is hurting after this horrific news.
Today's shootings in #Pittsburgh call for decisive action in promoting unity, ending divisive rhetoric, and creating common sense gun safety laws to reduce these devastating events. May we work to end these tragedies.
We grieve for the Americans murdered in Pittsburgh. All of us have to fight the rise of anti-Semitism and hateful rhetoric against those who look, love, or pray differently. And we have to stop making it so easy for those who want to harm the innocent to get their hands on a gun.
My heart is with Pittsburgh today, including the law enforcement officers who responded to today’s shooting.
Houses of worship should be places of community, faith, and family. We MUST find common-sense solutions to end gun violence and ensure our right to safe communities.
To our friends at Tree of Life, to all the families touched by today’s murders, and to the entire Jewish community of Pittsburgh: We are with you. We will always be with you. We stand with you against this hatred.
