U.S. Southern Command says intelligence linked the vessel to the Los Choneros narco-terrorist organization, with forces intercepting and clearing it without incident in coordination with Ecuador.
Those removed from the vessel will be transferred to Ecuadorian authorities, according to SOUTHCOM.
