See what they say. Don’t stop there. Keep politely questioning. If they can’t give specifics, there’s a problem. Residents deserve a right to know.

Luckily there were only two passengers onboard at the time of the collision.

Coincidentally this validates our claim. The need for demand based route management.

With ridership still below pre-pandemic levels (81% as of May, 2026).

Certain routes are exceeding demand. While others are still suffering. Calling for optimization. Adding and reducing where it makes sense.

We’ve identified 8 routes <50% pre-pandemic ridership levels and 19 routes between <50-80%.

SFMTA employs 6k people.

You think SFMTA would be able to optimize routes that meet demand…Instead they’re running service for 2 passengers?

Note: The few times SFMTA has adjusted routes over the past year+ has been reactive (ex: cutting $7.2 million in service in July 2025) and adding back some of what they cut in February, 2026.

No to SFMTA this November.

We are holding more than 500 city-funded service providers accountable for keeping their surrounding areas clean and safe. Every San Franciscan deserves a safe and clean neighborhood, and every person struggling on our streets deserves a real path to treatment and stability. Today, we’re announcing our stronger Good Neighbor Policy that will help us deliver both.

City-funded sites must perform regular perimeter checks, pick up trash, and address disruptive behavior outside their buildings.

When a neighborhood steps up to welcome a new facility, they shouldn't be punished with challenging street conditions and a lack of support. This policy had previously been inconsistent across city departments and difficult to enforce. Now, we are setting clear and consistent standards, offering training for our providers, and holding everyone accountable.

Since the launch of the Mission Enforcement Initiative, SFPD has made nearly 800 arrests and issued more than 500 Notices of Violation in partnership with @sfpublicworks.

Today, @SFPDMission continued enforcement efforts in the corridor.
