1)Talk to kids when they walk into class.
2) Learn 1 thing about each student.
3) Praise publicly and criticize privately.
4) Apologize when needed.

I’ve noticed that some students behave in some classes but not in others. That tells me that teachers have tremendous potential to impact student behavior. I’ve also noticed that teachers who are kind but have high expectations get the best results.
