Baby’s naptime is mama’s playtime 😈😈 My current obsession is this song – shoutout to @flea333 & Nick Cave for their beautiful rendition which brought this treasure back to the forefront of my attention. #GlenCampbell is the GOAT.
Some very good journalism from MSNBC, reporting on all the fabricated stories that Donald Trump has told over the last year. It’s embarrassing. The guy is either brazenly lying or riddled with dementia—likely both—but either way, that boy ain’t right.
.@jamestalarico: I've had a lot of interviews with national media. No one's ever asked me about the cost of housing. No one's asked me about the cost of prescription drugs. The only thing the media wants to ask me about are trans athletes.
The only minority destroying this country is the billionaires. Trans people are 1% of the population. Undocumented people are 1% of the population. We are all focused on the wrong 1%.
Trans people aren't taking away our healthcare. Undocumented people aren't defunding our schools. It's the billionaires and their puppet politicians
The WH and Republicans are meeting trying to figure out messaging going into midterms and SOTU next week.
If you had put America FIRST from the start, instead of your rich donor class and foreign policy, you wouldn’t have to strategize on how to gaslight Americans.
If you had not called the Epstein files a hoax and treated the Epstein survivors (rape and trafficking victims) like they didn’t exist and if you would release all the files and put your rich powerful friends in prison then Americans might actually listen to your “messaging.”
Since you all are on the struggle bus, I’ll give you an America First tip that you all don’t know about and are continuing to ignore, especially since the President is coming to my former district on Thursday.
Approximately 75,000 households in my former district had their health insurance double or more on January 1st of this year because the ACA tax credits expired and Republicans have absolutely failed to fix our health insurance system that was destroyed by Obamacare.
75,000 households equals hundreds of thousands of people in NW Georgia who’s health insurance doubled literally last month. Many dropped their policies and no longer have health insurance.
And that’s on top of EVERYONE ELSE who complains DAILY about the absurdly high cost of health insurance!!!
It affects everyone except the billionaires running the WH and admin and Congress whom all have a very nice affordable government health insurance plans.
And no Trump RX doesn’t fix this so that’s not your messaging answer.
I’m talking about younger healthier people and families not on meds who can’t afford to pay $1500 to more than $2000 per month just for their monthly health insurance premiums, not including $7-10,000 for a deductible before their ridiculously expensive health insurance policy kicks in.
A Truth Social Post or Trump video isn’t fixing this either.
Speaker Johnson claimed he had the Republican plan during the 8 week shutdown in the fall, then carried on and has done nothing proving he lied once again.
And don’t go on Fox News crying about the filibuster. Everyone knows it’s a stupid self imposed rule that is absolute bullshit. The Senate only upholds the filibuster to keep the Uniparty in power and to protect the big powerful industries who pay the lobbyists and fill everyone’s campaign coffers.
Messaging won’t fix this.
Delivering America First results for regular Americans is your only chance.
And going into another foreign war like with Iran makes it all worse. Only people, mostly boomers, spoon feeding Fox News propaganda will cheer that on.
And release all the Epstein files and stop protecting pedos. You ruined everything by covering up for them.
And stop the bullying, harassment, and name calling. It’s immature, childish, and turning so many people away. Real leaders don’t act this way and it’s a horrible example set on the world’s stage. This isn’t the behavior we want to teach our children.
America would be better off if our government just did its job and was seen and not heard. Everyone is sick of politics contaminating and ruining everything. Life needs to be enjoyed without political domination and fighting. It’s exhausting.
There is one thing I know about GA14, these people will elect their representative on their own and most of them hate the government anyways because the government has caused most of their problems with decades of pitiful America Last selfish decisions.
And you can call me all the petty names you want, I don’t worship a man, I’m not in a cult, and I refuse to fight for a team that refuses to win. Jesus is my savior and I know that he has already finished it and I’m so good with that.
All of this garbage and is fake anyways.
Bottom line.
Deliver real results for the regular American people because respect is earned not given.
There is a lot of confusion on what constitutes "the Epstein files." So let me explain. (Thread). First, there are the DOJ/FBI federal criminal case files. This is what Congress voted to release this past week. 1.
Scanning front pages across America this morning. Still today, the local A1 best captures the biggest story of the day. The majors from NY to LA to Detroit to even Arkansas. /1
This is probably one of the best speeches in committee I have EVER heard.
We often hear passionate emotional speeches and I applaud that, but this is a forensic dismantling of a woman who arrogantly thinks she and the administration she belongs to are above the law. THEY ARE NOT.
Kristi Noem attended the hearing intent on being obstructive and dismissive and Chris Murphy gave her a masterclass in the constitutional responsibilities of government. I salute you sir.

When I was a community college student (18) my International Communication Professor paired me with an older, VERY handsome fellow student (30s) from Bulgaria. Our assignment? To teach each other about our cultures, then share what we learned with the class. TW: trauma
A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.
Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200k/year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
You have a trade deficit with Kroger. You buy more stuff from them than they buy from you. Kroger has not taken advantage of you. You voluntarily paid them for something you wanted and which you were either unwilling or unable to produce yourself at a lower cost.
The U.S. has a trade deficit with other nations in large part because we are a richer nation and have more money to buy things and because poorer nations can produce those things more cheaply.
We will never have a trade surplus with a country that has workers making $2 a day because they don’t have the money to buy our stuff, which is expensive by comparison to the stuff they produce. That is, unless we become very poor. During the Great Depression, the U.S. had a trade surplus. We also will never be able to onshore the manufacturing of cheap consumer goods without making those goods very expensive (and I’m not sure where the workers would come from). We do export an awful lot, though. More goods than everyone but China and more services than anyone.
I’m all for working to tear down trade barriers, like tariffs, imposed by other countries. Many of our trade partners already had lower overall trade barriers than the U.S., including Canada. I have no doubt that yesterday’s move will create additional leverage. President Trump is not wrong that they need us more than we need them, or in his belief that we have more cushion for the pain of a trade war. As is always the case in economics, these decisions are cost-benefit analyses.
But left in place for any elongated duration, yesterday’s announcement carries substantial risks. Tariffs are taxes paid by domestic importers and their customers — so Americans. Prices will go up. Manufacturing efficiency will go down. For a couple of generations, economists (people like Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell) believed that tariffs deepened the Great Depression and that even the McKinley era tariffs preceded a recession. Maybe they’re wrong. I’d rather not find out.
Finally, a word on institutions. The Constitution gives Congress, not the presidency, the right to set tariffs (and levy taxes). Regardless of what you think of the policy announced yesterday, we are skating perilously close to Congress being a meaningless rubber stamp. The founders envisioned it being the most representative and important branch of government.
@RickChapterTwo Wisconsin has questionable voting machines. ⬇️
Watch this video of a ballot scanning machine in Racine, Wisconsin flipping votes from Hillary to Trump in 2016 and tell me Pumpkin Spice Satan was ever the legitimate president of the United States!

This is a key piece of what’s going on that I think more people should put together into summaries and pictures of the world
What you're looking at here is so big as to be indistinguishable from a concerted information war effort by something/someone efficacious and powerful

Here is some truth: Putin invaded Ukraine. NATO is the most successful military alliance in history. Since 1945, American leadership has ensured freedom and security for ourselves and millions of others around the world. Together with our allies, we defeated the Soviet Union—an empire so evil it had to build gulags and walls to keep its own people in. Destroying America’s alliances and abandoning the cause of freedom is morally and strategically indefensible. Putin will pocket Trump’s naive concessions and demand much more. Appeasement makes a wider war more likely, not less.
@realDonaldTrump, @JDVance, and @elonmusk have made clear who they are. Only fools—or Kremlin tools—would abandon NATO, side with Russia, and demand Ukraine surrender in the face of Putin’s brutal aggression.
After Vance accused Zelensky of not saying thank you, Zelensky is now tweeting individual thanks to every single world leader expressing solidarity with Ukraine.
