Built VIVARIUM with Codex, React, TypeScript and Three.js: an interactive 3D terrarium running in the browser.
This little experiment focuses on the African bush viper "Atheris squamigera", with 360° viewing, feeding and persistent saves. I wanted to see how well Astra could build it. Used like 30% of my 20x weekly and it ran for about 7 hours. But also tested out two other species. I like this as a little benchmark and I will do it again with other models.
Link below if you wanna try it out!
Under the glass: a deterministic 20 Hz simulation, kept separate from rendering and camera movement. The viper follows a supported body path; pause and save preserve its state. We iterated with unit tests, browser checks and visual review. Still a stylized beta.
I love the music control visual in Google's promote video of Material You design. It shows us how color harmony can be. But when you actually use it to an app, should take some balance...

I kind of wishing apple won't do it so rude to a pill + hole style face ID. They are too much similar to material you design music control button. But since Pixel 7 back camera module already shocked me. Is that futuristic trend? #designthinking
Due to inflation, shortages and higher component costs, the iPhone 14 lineup is expected to feature higher prices compared to the iPhone 13 lineup. Earlier this year, Apple increased the iPhone SE starting price from $399 to $429. Would you buy an iPhone 14 at a higher price?
