@AnfieldWatch They really can't. If he doesn't go this summer they will have to sell at half the price next year or on a free. The reason it's 130m now it's because he has 3 years on his contract and a striker is a priority for many clubs that could pay it.
@LFCTransferRoom It only makes sense if we can replace him with someone as good for a cheaper price, this would fund our summer. Or at least someone better for the same price.
@thisisanfield I don't think he had a bad game, can see that he's a big rusty but if conor had his shooting boots on he would have had an assist to his name yesterday.
@Andrew_Heaton I look back at how disappointed I was when I saw trent and jordan goodbye videos. Like robots reading from a script. This is what I would expect from a true servant of a club.
@LivEchoLFC In a normal game, it shouldn't be about the ref. But in a tight Derby, considering the circumstances. The ref influenced two big goals for Everton and lost us 2 points.
@ThatAnfieldBuzz Ruin all day. Especially the fact that Liverpool are arguably the best team in Europe at the moment. It would make sense if it was to make a huge step up. I do think he will stay. I think he's trying to get as much money as he can out of this new deal.
@talkSPORT Rule says yes, but that doesn't mean that I agree. If a striker is in on goal, goes round the keeper and gets taken out while the keeper gets a nail on the ball, a pen isn't given. I don't see why this should be any different.
