@white_lenka @hungsunhan @szeremeta03 Taiwan has had a female president, 40% of the parliament is female, and even women who played male roles have won Best Actor awards. We are so accustomed to letting women excel in every field, and Lin is just one among many! We're sorry not sorry for our progress!

Gender verification in sports ensures fair competition in single-sex events. Methods have evolved from physical exams and chromosome tests to hormone testing. Chromosome tests, which identify XX or XY patterns, proved unreliable due to biological variations and did not consistently correlate with athletic performance, leading to their abandonment by sports organizations.

In contrast, testosterone tests focus on hormone levels, which are directly linked to athletic ability. Testosterone significantly impacts muscle mass, strength, and endurance, providing a more accurate measure of performance potential. Unlike chromosome tests, testosterone levels are quantifiable and can be monitored, offering a practical approach to maintaining competitive balance.

With testosterone levels differing up to 15 times between men and women, it is a crucial indicator for categorizing athletes. Testosterone testing ensures fairness by addressing a key biological factor affecting athletic performance, making it a superior method for maintaining equal competition compared to chromosome testing.

@defisecretx @fairplaywomen Such a pity to see a comment with no respect to a girl who just doesn't have the appearance you think a woman should be like. In Taiwan, we care more about what value you believe in and your ability to face challenges than simply judge someone by your looks.

@MargaretFerrier @fairplaywomen @mara_yamauchi Stop the rumours against these non-white female athletes just because they don't look like what you think a woman shall be like. It's racism and sexism. They are born women. You have no rights to judge them as you know nothing of them.

@fairplaywomen It's a shame that an account named Fair Play For Women is shaming women's right to play fair. It is ridiculous to call both of them male when there is no scientific proofs. The fact that you are cyber-bullying these non-white female athletes is an act of racism and sexism.
