@Davin86303099@eircare Any luck with the quick fix? Let me know how it goes, if it doesn’t work I think it’s time to switch to @VirginMediaIE What you think?
@TeamIreland arriving back from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics onboard @qatarairways from Doha to @DublinAirport today. Nice to see the escort from the airport fire service and the tricolour on display. Congrats to @Kelly64kg and @aidanwalsh997 who were onboard today.
@JohnMcN22748333 @jamesanthony777@DublinAirport@volgadneprgroup@DelhiAirport@IndiainIreland Few bits wrong there John, it’s An IL-76 in question, not an AN-124. Therefore, witth a bit of research you’ll find that these aircraft are equipped with 4 Aviadvigatel PS-90 engines. A very efficient engine designed for use on this aircraft for Volga to reduce emissions.
@JohnMcN22748333 @paralysedbeaver@DublinAirport@volgadneprgroup@DelhiAirport@IndiainIreland Well it’s also worth pointing out Aer Lingus is a private airline, who operate separate from the government. You should probably worry more about the lives we’re trying to save in India than how it’s transported there :)
@JohnMcN22748333 @paralysedbeaver@DublinAirport@volgadneprgroup@DelhiAirport@IndiainIreland In this case, they’re trying to save lives with this equipment being shipped to India as quickly as possible, therefore this is the perfect aircraft. It can fit in more cargo and can be chartered almost immediately instead of fitting in half the cargo on Aer Lingus.
