@KelseyMaeOkay Your response is good. Definitely a good learning experience though. Maybe start every booking/appointment in the future by asking them if they would like a thorough explanation of the process. Managing expectations is important. I think the client messed up by assuming things.

@KelseyMaeOkay Yeah I mean I do tip when expected because I understand that. It frustrates me that employers don’t properly compensate their employees. It’s not a thing really outside of North America, we’ve just developed this weird cultural norm of tipping for everything.

@KelseyMaeOkay I hate all tipping, from restaurants to barbers and everything else. I think it shouldn’t be a thing. Charge what your service costs. Customers shouldn’t be expected to determine the true price of your product. I could rant for an hour about why I hate tipping lol.
