Corporate greed playbook:

⬆️Dividends, exec pay and debt finance up
⬇️Investment, worker pay and customer service quality down

According to reports, Thames Water is about to go bust, and the govt is planning to use huge amounts of public money to bail them out.
Thames Water have dished out £1,600,000,000 to shareholders over the past 12 years - including £37.1m last year.
Privatisation is a TOTAL scam.

Don’t tell us inflation is 8.7%.
For ordinary people it’s over 20% and out of control.
How wages have faired.
MPs: Pay ⬆️ 22% in real terms since 2010
Bankers: Bonuses ⬆️ 101% in cash terms since 2008
CEOs: Pay ⬆️ 23% in 2022 alone
Teachers: Pay 🔻 24% since 2010
Nurses: Pay 🔻 20% since 2010
Whose wages are causing the inflation?

I don’t ‘think’ this is happening.
I know.
Let’s get this right. Scientists didn’t fail to communicate the risks of climate change, they have been warning us for a century. Our policies are failing because after knowing the risks, fossil fuel companies spent billions of dollars blocking meaningful action on climate.
