Unfortunately, Dr. Kane has not accepted our invitation to become the new #phled superintendent. But she will keep supporting school leaders in her work!

In a lot of ways, the School District of Philadelphia is the polar opposite of Queen Anne's County. Many QAC's students of color have suffered, sometimes in silence, racist treatment at their schools.

Dr. Kane feels exponentially better after leaving Queen Anne's County. She couldn't even go out in public before she moved away from that environment.
