A high speed pursuit occurred in the early hours of thursday morning, officers from Merton traffic base had a high speed pursuit through the Lower Merton area. Due to the drivers driving tactical contact was made bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion.

This afternoon Met Operations 8 officers were involved within a high speed pursuit within a high density area, officers chased the male in a controlled and safe manner before the male crashed into a residential house and was detained.
