The only way @bp_plc can meaningfully tackle climate change is to stop digging for new oil and gas, and reveal a credible plan to go 100% renewable. When will you put your PR tricks aside and get serious about shifting your business to renewable energy? #bpNetZero
@onedayihope3@charssheard@Sponge0123@dazavtec@piersmorgan 'US non standard' means it's not a word in English. And thanks for letting me have my own 'opinion', but the law is based on facts, things that are desperately missing in discussions on Twitter.
@onedayihope3@charssheard@Sponge0123@dazavtec@piersmorgan It isn't a word. Try finding it in a dictionary. The word is 'regardless'. And being a supporter of the rule of law makes me a Saville supporter???? 😂 I mean, I've probably spent more time in a refuge than you, but you're the expert.
@charssheard@Sponge0123@onedayihope3@dazavtec@piersmorgan are called 'the accused' and not 'the abuser'. You don't seem to understand this. You and the media treated Ms Flack like she had already been found guilty, based on your irrelevant opinions instead of the findings of a court of law. And 'irregardless' isn't a word.
@charssheard@Sponge0123@onedayihope3@dazavtec@piersmorgan The obvious point you're missing here is that in the UK, we have a system whereby a person accused of a crime is not guilty of that crime until a jury/court looks at the evidence and decides they are guilty. It's called the law. That's why people awaiting trial 1/
There is a sadness about describing someone first as beautiful.... as if this thing we have no part in is above all else...and all the qualities which really matter are strewn behind like litter.
The first time I heard about Trump’s US/Mexico wall I thought it was an Onion article. Then I heard about Johnson’s Scotland/Ireland bridge and I thought it was an Onion article. I should have learned by now that nothing is parody any more

Couldn't find the Netflix reporter in the press gallery at the Old Bailey today. Huge trial as well so I really fear their coverage of the Magistrates Courts will be falling behind local papers and BBC radio, TV and online
@charlotteslib To be 'scunnered' is commonly used in Scotland today, meaning to be cheesed off, miserable, disappointed, fed up etc.
We're particularly scunnered at this time of the year because it's been dark forever.
BP already have more fossil fuels on their books than the planet can afford for them to burn. But they’re planning to spend $71billion digging up new oil & gas on top of that! You need to stop this now & then become a renewable energy company @bp_plc#climateemergency#bpshutdown
Dom blames “the shocking influence of lawyers on policy” for the current laws on the release of prisoners.
Once more, slowly:
Lawyers do not make laws.
Dom’s boss and his mates make the laws. That has been their job for the last decade. The blame lies with them.

Took me 20 minutes, but I never thought I'd have to dig it out again.
Ten minutes in a taxi queue last night - I could have swung for them.
If you hear their shit, shut it down.
