The stairwell is really fun, but repetitive on purpose. I do agree, wishing that there was more objectives than just find the fire alarm.

What I'm disappointed about, is the lack of a chase. All the floors have a chase in their own way, Haste, Honcho, Seek, Eyestalk. But where's the stairwells chase? I think it'd be a perfect opportunity to introduce sliding in the main game, going down the stairs while the vacuum is tearing apart the floor. I'm actually planning on making a small chase for a proof of demo...

Other Gripes:
Meld just slows you down and doesn't hurt you...
Alma... Should genuinely be in the stairwell? She'd fit so well...

The ending is a little anticlimactic to me...

@rabbits0real What if the side rooms are blocked with vines, you can sacrifice a use of your shears for items or the outdoors, or a shortcut in one of the bigger greenhouse rooms, for a much needed safe room in the courtyard. Imagine the shear holder dying and needing to backtrack...
