Listen and share these testimonies from the city of Homs, a city that suffered from the bombardment of Assad’s regime and its allies, and endured a brutal siege, massive destruction, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of its residents.
Despite a year having passed since the fall of the #Assad regime, thousands of families in #Homs still face extremely harsh living conditions amid devastation, unemployment, and the collapse of basic services, all of which hinder the return of the displaced and the uprooted to their homes.

I heard some old friends at @PodSaveAmerica were in town, so I decided to stop by. As we saw this week, we can change this country for the better. But it’s going to take all of us getting organized and having honest conversations about the best way forward.
BREAKING: In a stunning announcement, Governor Wes Moore just announced his plans to fight back against Republican gerrymandering efforts taking place across the country. This is amazing.
@RAisaprison@danpfeiffer The only thing that changed is the legality & the humanity of it. The Obama admin went through proper legal channels. The current theater is only about looking tough and putting on a show for people who love being aggressively violent towards others which you clear love.
@c0lettea@danpfeiffer That's cute. Except there's one problem. Your republicans won't amend their bill before a vote meaning... Once they push it through people will be kicked off SNAP and ACA. So maybe it's time to think a little harder about your 1 second position.
More than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable, affordable access to nutritious food. And as the cost of living skyrockets, more families are depending on SNAP benefits, or food stamps, to put food on the table.
@DonTClovis@danpfeiffer Oh Don. As opposed to a president who's tearing up the constitution, abusing numerous laws and powers to target citizens and enrich himself through numerous scams and cons. I'll take the beach president any time. Also one would think you'd go beyond these surface arguments.
