@lemulimerat@theboywizard_ Thuh "Amerrcan Accent" iz thuh white bread of acsense. There's no unique infleckshuns or flohrishes that make it stand out. An accent to us implies "forinn" so are accent, which iz "nadiv" an' bland isn'd an accent.
It's "normull"
@LuiAltt People who can't even string together a coherent sentence for an email being in management positions with hiring/firing power is rat poison for the economy and society in the long-term (and it's only going to get worse)
@yothisaintavibe You know, you don't actually have to care if foreigners are ignorant about things, right? If you told a German his country was part of Russia he would just think you're kind of slow, it would not actually affect his perception of his country or himself.
@sammisilber I bet he's going to sign a two-year contract and then retire after the first year. Clever misdirection in order to avoid farewell tour fanfare
@doree_stephen@GoreGahan1 He used it for this song as well as Exorcism during the 1994-96 tours but never again afterwards. My guess is that he hadn't figured out how to get this sort of scooped "chugging" sound out of the ES-295 yet by this point
@knockupwood I think it's a lot funnier that so many people think goth is death metal or some variant of 2009 era screamo when it's actually The Cure
Emo at least has heavy guitars so the gap between perception and reality isn't quite as ludicrous
@kxreeda How well the movie executes its objective + my subjective evaluation of how much merit the objective has + craftsmanship. I get why some rate based on enjoyment but there's a like button for a reason and I don't agree with rating things down just bc I'm not the intended audience.
@stacycay "Old comedian who doesn't go on social media claims social media users are preventing him from making jokes" has to be my least favourite genre of interview
@sourpenismilk It's possible to appreciate a movie's craftsmanship but not necessarily enjoy it, and it's also possible to enjoy a movie that isn't that great. That's why there's both a like button and stars
It's really not hard to understand, I don't get why there's so much debate about this
@girldrawsghosts Eighties aesthetics have transcended nostalgia and have become intertwined with contemporary culture at this point. We basically live in an 80s retrofuturist world like Fallout has with the 50s.
