Our 6th class girls enjoyed a great day out today at Tag Rugby blitz in Murroe. An added bonus to their day came when Munster player Billy Burns came to talk to them! 🏈🥰

Our 5th Class really enjoyed creating beautiful artwork this morning when they painted the windows of Newport Community Centre with Christmas art! Thanks so much to Mary Cussen from Newport Community Centre for inviting us and allowing us to show our wonderful talent! 🎨🖌️🖼️

Well done to our 3rd & 4th class team on winning gold and to our 5th & 6th class team on winning silver medals in the major schools category in Thurles Crokes today! Well done girls, ye did us proud! 👏🏆🥇🥈

6th class raised a whopping €1700 for Don Bosco school in South India with their bake sale on Thursday! Thanks to 6th class and the whole school for all the delicious baking and huge generosity 🧁🍩😋💕

4th Class went on a history walk with local historian Martin. We learned all about the protestant graveyard in the 1800s, as well as some history of the local Catholic church. We finished our morning with a trip to Gully's and an ice cream down by the river 😋

Second class had such a lovely time looking after the pets that visited our school with the pet farm 🐈🐕🐔💕

We raise our new Green Flag for litter & waste yesterday! Our brilliant committee treated everyone in the school to a cupcake to say thanks for all the work for the past 2 years. Well done everyone! 💚🏆@greenschoolsire

Thanks Tracey & Mags, @AnalogDevices for visiting 4th in our school as part of a STEM project.The girls built circuits and got to take home the kits provided! It was very informative & most importantly lots of fun!The girls loved it.There are some budding engineers in Rang IV!👩‍🔬
