> Narrative is the best there is
> Launch was hot, very community focused
> But with that being said 50% is given to team/investors in 1 year lmfao
> There's no value accrual
> Will not get the institutional bid yet
> Lots of presalers / traders up infinite in short time frame
> ~1% per month in rewards is not bad but not ideal because it also makes me question the sustainability of metrics

Thankfully I traded this well and have 0 cost basis, the narrative is so good I will still hold despite all this

Looking for someone to bull me up, because further due dillgence has got me a little uncomfy

Introducing Plasma One: the one app for your money.

[river @river0x]

DeFi ecosystems are complex and interwoven. With Plasma’s mainnet beta days away, our onchain markets face their first stress test: a significant liquidity injection in a short duration of time.

Our immediate priority is to onboard liquidity smoothly to support the long-term growth of our DeFi ecosystem.

TL:DR on how we will achieve this:
- We are staggering the migration of USD₮ from the Veda deposit vault into Aave over a period of 5 days to manage utilization and market risk.
- To compensate for this, we are directing heavy XPL incentives to the vault during this period.
- During the first few days of mainnet beta, users withdrawing from the vault will be subject to a 48-hour cooldown period. This will be reduced to a 24-hour cooldown once our onchain markets stabilize.
- If a vault depositor withdraws their liquidity, they forfeit all rewards earned during the stability period, including yield and additional XPL incentives.

The short version of why:
In our deposit campaign, we leveraged Veda vaults to deploy stables into Aave. At mainnet beta, the $1B of USD₮ liquidity will be bridged from Ethereum mainnet to Plasma. We anticipate the demand for this liquidity being structurally higher on Plasma given the attractive USD₮ borrow rates.

As we are bootstrapping this new Aave market, liquidity will be introduced gradually rather than all at once. This thoughtful sequencing follows best practices: it gives the market time to stabilize, allows borrowers to absorb supply smoothly, and reduces volatility that can arise during the bootstrapping phase.

Gradual deployment also provides flexibility to manage any user withdrawals, ensuring that both borrowers and depositors experience steady, well-balanced market conditions.

We will supply USD₮ from Veda into Aave in a controlled sequence to keep our DeFi ecosystem healthy, adjusting supply caps alongside risk curators to balance utilization.

To ensure markets remain healthy, a portion of liquidity will be kept aside to scale into Aave gradually, aligning deployment with borrow demand. To compensate, depositors will receive additional XPL rewards during this window.

Simply: should you withdraw from the vault, you will not receive the Aave yield and XPL rewards earned in this stability period and your liquidity will be available after 48 hours. If you stay in the vault, you will receive Aave yield and the full, boosted, XPL rewards. After markets stabilize, the withdrawal period of funds from Veda vaults is reduced to 24 hours.

The launch of Plasma mainnet beta is just the beginning. Plasma will be the most attractive and open rates trading venue in the space, and this progressive allocation responsibly starts down that path. Thank you for the trust and patience.

Trillions.
