The only truth in his narrative is the undeniable fact that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Navarro’s refusal to testify likely stems from a desire to avoid perjury charges, as his pattern of falsehoods would have unraveled under oath. Instead, he chose jail for contempt of Congress by ignoring a lawful subpoena.

Navarro’s call to investigate Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, and Adam Schiff for their roles in probing Trump’s actions is absurd. The Senate Intelligence Committee, led by Republican Marco Rubio, confirmed Russia’s interference in the 2016 election to benefit Trump. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report further detailed extensive contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russian operatives. Suggesting that Democrats should face scrutiny for pursuing legitimate investigations into these well-documented ties is not just baseless—it’s a brazen attempt to deflect from the truth.
