En juin dernier, Red Bull aurait tenté de racheter la clause de sortie de Max Verstappen afin de la supprimer de son contrat. Le pilote néerlandais aurait toutefois refusé cette proposition. Une décision qui aurait irrité les relations entre Red Bull et Max Verstappen.
Une situation qui se serait tellement détériorée au point que Mark Mateschitz souhaiterait désormais mettre un terme à la collaboration. Une position que ne serait pas partagée par le PDG de Red Bull, Oliver Mintzlaff, qui souhaiterait conserver Verstappen au sein de l'équipe jusqu'en 2030.
Red Bull estime avoir suffisamment investi sur Max Verstappen pour mériter un engagement plus fort de sa part. Un transfert chez Mercedes semble désormais écarté ❌
Certaines sources affirment également que Red Bull s'est préparée à faire une annonce concernant ses pilotes dès cette semaine, laissant entendre qu'une décision de Verstappen aurait déjà été prise ⏳
