This morning on WEEI: Sox keep asking Pedroia to join org, he keeps saying no.
This afternoon on 310 To Left: "This hit Pedroia hard. It hit a lot of guys hard. They built the foundation of the Red Sox, when they see it going the other way, they take offense to it."
"This is about as bad as it gets." —Sam Kennedy on @WEEI.
For once he actually sounds upset. As he should, his team sucks.
Would've liked to hear him explain why the Red Sox gutted their scouting department and how that will impact the trade deadline, especially since they'll likely sell for prospects. Probably a good time to have scouts around.
Also would've liked to hear him address how the Red Sox massive coaching staff firing has impacted different levels of the organization and if they plan on hiring external candidates to fill the holes. Though I'm not sure he's equipped to answer that question.
"Bryant Park was not our party. Bryant Park was the mayor's party. Why people acted up at the mayor's party, I don't know. That's not Madison Square Garden."
