Just got the inside scoop on this deal but suffice it to say that tensions had been boiling since beginning of series. @JMUBaseball had some pitchers chirping since start of series. F bombs and such.

Our @RaginCajunsBSB player (Mandino) had a bad drag bunt and dropped shoulder into 1st baseman since he was in the line. Bad decision on his part and he knows it. Degg’s was going to handle Mandino after inning.

However, @JMUBaseball dugout started chirping hard and cussing at Degg’s at 3rd base coach. Coaches and players. @JMUBaseball HC didn’t tell his players to shut up. Huge eye wash in my opinion. Players don’t yell and cuss at other head coaches. That’s a no go zone imo.

Degg’s was over the crap talking and decided to get after it. You can see from video that JMU HC didn’t want to deal with it.

Can’t blame Matt for reacting the way he did. JMU HC allowed his guys to chirp and talk all series and this was the culmination of it. Back in my college days, no way Coach Robe would tolerate that sort of language. We would be running stadiums for days.
