Here are 3 underrated mistakes animators often make when bringing 2D characters to life—and how to fix them! 🔥

1. Static Movement: When animating, the character’s hair or clothing doesn’t feel alive. Add subtle curves or bounce to avoid a stiff, lifeless look.
2. Overlapping Motions: Sometimes the background elements (like leaves) don’t move in sync with the character. Make sure everything reacts to wind or motion for cohesion.
3. Ignoring Weight: The character’s dress may look flat, lacking weight or flow. Implementing slight shifts in gravity or drag makes it feel grounded.
