Today we travel to Holme Lacy for our second league game , always a tough place to go and get a result .

We look to get the performance levels up and hopefully the results will then come, no easy games in this league so 100% will be needed by all.

We are back in action this Saturday after a weekend off, we look to put the disappointment of the first game behind us this week with most of the squad back and ready to go now.

Not the result we wanted in circumstances we knew weren’t ideal, Tops well in the game at 1-1 on 65 mins but a missed chance to go 2-1 up saw us then go 4-1 down in mad 10 mins .

The Last 10 mins we got control back but Tenbury were now in comfortable and got a 5th

It starts this Saturday and we are super excited to get going ,circumstances could have been better with 16 of the first team squad away but we still go with a small but strong group and are positive .

We know Tenbury are a good outfit and it will be a good challenge

Good win and we completely dominated possession but 3-0 should have been double figures, 7/8 times we hit the woodwork, their keeper who was unreal made 6/7 outrageous stops, bad misses maybe but credit to him as he was class , we also squandered many other chances

Today we travel to Hinton for our final pre season game , we take only a small squad due to injuries and holiday commitments but we are really looking forward to getting good mins in the legs.

Tonight we travel away to Pegasus Res in our league for the 4th pre season game, management are pushing the lads hard to keep improving the bond of the new squad and implementing what we have been working on .

This week we move to a Friday night game, away to Pegasus Res which is always a nice place to go with good facilities.

We look to keep working hard and building this squad.

Good win for the lads despite loads away and lads playing with injuries , dominated the majority of the game and had to dig deep to get the result .

Well done to a young Holme lacy team , both teams missing players and both did well to get through .

This coming Saturday we travel to Holme Lacy for our 3rd preseason game, another good test for this new squad.

Despite a few players away with summer commitments we will still continue to build the mentality and foundations to move forward into the season .

Hanley taught us Saturday that despite the large amount of missed chances and possession if you don’t work hard you don’t deserve to win games, we take this lesson and hopefully learn from it .

Good first pre season result against a very young and fit side who have been a lot more active than us so far in pre season , a few lads away and the first time most of the lads had even met each other so lots of positives .
