I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude

[Laurie Whitwell @lauriewhitwell]

Carrick: "We need to show exactly what it means + respect what it takes to be here. I'm not entitled to be here. Entitlement cannot be at this football club. We've got an incredible history, but that doesn't mean that you're entitled to just win. It takes a lot of sacrifice."

Just in case we’re at risk of revisionism

[The Athletic | Football @TheAthleticFC]

"Ruben Amorim, it's happened again!"

With Bournemouth 3-0 up against Milan in the Europa League, the home fans sing to the visiting head coach — and he can see the funny side.

Amorim's Manchester United lost 3-0 to Bournemouth in December 2024.

@nqatpod I’m just grateful for the childhood years that Man Utd gave me. It’s rough enough being born a Cleveland sports fan. Now it’s just the usual with all my sports teams.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

These things are so unserious. We really shouldn’t have let him rename Gulf of Mexico…

[Commentary Donald J. Trump Truth Social Posts On X @TrumpTruthOnX]

New Mexico should immediately change its name to New America. We are not Mexico, we are the United States of America! The name would add great value and prestige to the State! Home Values and Incomes would rise, and you would be even prouder while saluting our beautiful American Flag! Maybe even the Crooked Elections, that New Mexico is known for, would become honest again!

@nqatpod Tactics were fine. Maz coming on didn’t help but needs must for lack of options. Don’t like Mount and Bruno together; leaves defensive gaps in midfield.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@nqatpod Sometimes I think there’s a lot of parallels between the way United is run and how the world is…

[Paddy Power @paddypower]

To be fair to City, you can't expect a club that hasn't won a trophy in 51 years to compete with the defending European Champions.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@nqatpod Games gone/

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

He’s scum. Throw him out. @NFL

[The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast @thedawgspodcast]

The NFL needs to remove Minkah Fitzpatrick from the league immediately. Prayers for KC Concepcion.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

Still true 1 hour later @ManUtd

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

That was awful @ManUtd

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@AndyMitten You already said it Andy, but whether he deserves it or not, Carrick will be out before the winter break if he doesn’t turn this around now.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

That was awful @ManUtd

[Ian Miller @ianmSC]

It’s just endless. Media creates hoax, media figures and politicians repeat hoax, social media spreads hoax, then late night political talk show goes on fake moral crusade about the hoax, the left then encodes a permanent religious belief in hoax, rinse repeat

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@AndyMitten @TheAthleticFC Being a Browns fan from Cleveland and also a Manchester United fan, it used to balance the pain, now it’s pain all the time. Welcome to the Pit of Misery, Mancunians.

[Henry Winter @henrywinter]

Manchester United’s plan to do their defensive reinforcing in next summer’s transfer window always looked risky. Michael Carrick will get the heat for some of the abject defending by his team but this is down to the board with its transfer policy. #MUFC

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

The problems are still within the foundation (ownership) and Carrick will be the next lamb to the slaughter instead of fixing their own.

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨 Michael Carrick: “The team's on me. So when we win, people say I'm doing a good job… and if we don't win or we don't get results, then a lot of it's on me”.

“So I accept that, I'm not hiding away from any of that”.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@nqatpod Maz was shockingly bad. He had one job.

The sky isn’t falling but there’s so much to be desired these last 3 games. I hope we’re done with the Dorgu experiment

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@nqatpod Dorgu doesn’t work at left wing. Zero impact when he came on.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

Welcome home, Rashford. Welcome home.

[Devan Anderson @CopperTopTurtle]

@barstoolsports You’re welcome to terminate your contract. We encourage it
