Some of our Year 11 students were out at work experience this week. We really want to thank @caudwellkids@PVFCFoundation Wolstanton Tanning and Beauty , Bishops Offley Christmas Trees and Community Junction for supporting them in placements.
KS3 students visited London Road synagogue this week as part of their ongoing topic on religious buildings. We were grateful to have Martin Morris, President of the Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire congregation to guide us round the synagogue & give an interactive 1/2
Josh and Jacob just completed a very successful work experience placement at Port Vale FC Foundation. We are so proud of them and want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Port Vale for supporting them.
Coppice students went on an adventure to discover the wonderful world of STEM. The students visited the Big Bang Fair,NEC Birmingham & took part in a range of hands-on activities centred around STEM. They all had a fantastic time. Fingers crossed we can go again next year.
Class of 2023! Our final exam is complete, most of the coursework is finished, Spruce have done their Vocational Week & this week we have our first community work experience placements since 2019! We are looking forward to celebrating with Year 11 as they head for the finish line
This week is British Science Week and students have been looking at the connection between cream and butter, milk and cheese. They have made their own butter from cream and cheese from milk- and have all taste tested their own products. #BritishScienceWeek@ScienceWeekUK

#NumberDay NSPCC Students wore numbers, took part in maths activities and games, and we had a full school kahoots quiz in assembly with all students answering on their ipads.
Last week we welcomed back students from the Class of 2022 to collect their hard-earned exam certificates. It was lovely to catch up with them, hear about their new experiences and celebrate their success.
