Five years ago, Ademola Lookman was almost inexistent in football. No one knew his name despite that he started his career in 2015. It felt like things weren't going right for him. Five years later, he won the CAF award for best footballer of the year in Africa. The most prestigious football award in Africa.

Five years ago, Vinicius Jnr. was the worst player to put on Real Madrid's shirt. He was so bad at football that his own teammate, Benzema told the rest of their players not to pass the ball to him, that he was playing against them. Five years later, Vinicius Jnr. Won the FIFA the Best award and almost won the Balon d'Or as well. The most prestigious football award in Europe.

Five years ago, Rodri was barely a known player with nothing to his name. You wouldn't know about him except you're an Atletico Madrid fan or you watch their matches. Five years later, he is not only the best player in Manchester City, he won the Balon d'Or. The best football award in Europe.

In 2012, Luka Modric was voted as the worst signing of La Liga. Do you know what that means? Everyone who voted, voted him to be the worst footballer of all players playing in name. Luka Modric saw this as well.
What happened 12 years later? He is now the most decorated Real Madrid player, the player with the most champions League trophy and a legend of Real Madrid. At the age of 39, His name is now being mentioned amongst other midfield greats.

In these four stories above, there are three common factors; Time, resilience and consistency.

No matter the obstacles they encountered on their journey, these footballers never stopped moving.

You'd notice these big achievements they have today didn't fall on their laps out of the blue.

It is a result of their small progress and achievements that accumulated over the years.

It should tell you that everyone has their own time. You have yours too.

As long as you continue moving, making progress everyday, the big miracle will come your way too.
