It is a privilege to work with this remarkable group of people making an impact in the world, especially for people with chronic illnesses like me!
It was a wonderful experience to be an organiser for this event. I can’t wait to see what the future of REMEDI holds 💜
Last week we celebrated 20 years of REMEDI with a two-day summit highlighting two decades of groundbreaking research. We welcomed Prof. Giebel as keynote speaker & bid farewell to Tina Harte who is moving to pastures new.
Here's to another 20 years of REMEDI innovation!
We are celebrating our 20th anniversary with a summit featuring talks from REMEDI PIs, highlighting their impact across the fields of clinical translation, iPSCs, neurobiology, cancer, musculoskeletal research, and immunomodulation. We’re excited to mark this milestone! 🧬🔬
➡️Are you18 years of age or older?
➡️Do you have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes?
➡️Are you currently on a prescription of a weight loss medication?
Clíodhna, a student doing her masters in health psychology with University of Galway, is investigating the effects of certain weight loss medications. With more new weight loss medications becoming available for prescription in Ireland every year, it's important to understand people's experiences of using these medications.
Please reach out to her if you are interested in taking part or have any questions!

Are you transitioning from paediatric diabetes clinic to adult diabetes services soon or have you moved to adult diabetes care services in the last few years?
Are you 14-26 years old or a parent/carer or a friend (18+) of an adolescent/young adult with diabetes living in Ireland?
If so, the HSE would like to hear from you about your experience of moving from paediatric to adult health services!
Click this link https://t.co/7zhBNKiE4c and share your story so the HSE can learn how to improve this challenging process.
This is your opportunity to share how difficult or easy it was, how prepared your clinics were, how different (or similar) the care in adult diabetes services compared to paediatric ones is, and how long it takes and how smooth it is to move to adult diabetes services.
Have your say and share your own or your child's/friend's experience to help improve the transition of diabetes care across the country!
Had a fantastic two days at this workshop learning invaluable skills to help our Masters courses and my own personal development 🤓
Really looking forward to putting theory into practice over the next few months 🔬
Could any students following me please take 30 seconds out of your day to fill out this anonymous questionnaire for my daughters research into learning styles.
Very much appreciated. 🙏
