Burnham - I’ll give you £45 off your energy bills
The people - is that it?
Burnham - I’m scrapping the prisoner early release program
The people - it’s too late
Burnham - pubs can have a 20% business rate cut
The people - not enough
THIS IS WHY WE HAVE HAD SO MANY PMs
@WhiteHouse And y’all think that merging military’s with a country you already ‘donate’ huge amounts of money makes you more independent and free? Come off it.
@300_guns@CAgovernor Let’s be honest here, trump got as much backing as he did because he outright said he would release them. So of course Mel Gibson would want to see them when he’s elected. Ridiculous argument…
As America are so ‘graciously’ hosting such an ‘amazing’ World Cup and are giving us the homour of having to sit through their national Anthem, can we hear Canada and Mexico’s to? I mean they are also hosting this event. Unless the US has such a problem with that?
@MATTDUNN_radio@WelBeast@FIFAWorldCup Let’s make something clear mate. Nobody complained in 1966 I’m sure. Everyone outside of the IS has complained in 2026. Why? Because your failed politician of a president managed to get a leash over Gianni Infantino and make him ruin what was once a game to be enjoyed by everyone
The American-isation of this World Cup is getting out of hand… we don’t need to hear the American National anthem in the final… we don’t need a half time show… we don’t need a musical closing ceremony… please for the love of god FIFA, give it a damn rest!
#worldcup#joke
Trump claiming to be the most followed person on TikTok ‘BY FAR’ and saying Taylor Swift was eleventh is hilarious to me. Does he genuinely believe now that people can’t find these statistics easily online? Is he even starting to believe these incredibly obvious lies? Mental.
Quickly @MarkJCarney and @Claudiashein, if you call Gianni up now you might still get a chance to have Mexico and Canada put back into the World Cup! It’s clear the rules are out the window so make a stance as co hosts of this tournament!
Huge congrats to @realDonaldTrump, you really know how to get people together and unite everyone under one flag! Not talking about the star spangled one but the black yellow and red one! COME ON @Belgium !! 🇧🇪 🇧🇪
True to an extent. Andy Burnham doesn’t deserve the leadership position whatsoever. Especially when he didn’t finish his service has mayor. But to say this issue has anything to do with Islam? Says more about the people in power in the IS than the UK…
Andy Burnham wasn’t part of the Labour government at the last general election.
He was not elected to any national position whatsoever.
Now he’s going to become the Prime Minister without anyone even voting on it?
And they call that a democracy?
The UK is an Islamic joke…
Outrageous. The ones who put American lives – and the lives of countless others – at risk were Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth and Benjamin Netanyahu.
Don’t blame the UK for your catastrophic blunder.
@Mmonkoaa It’s not necessarily about the size that makes it better. It’s about the memories and legacy that some of the stadiums have. When in California last summer I have to admit I was in awe at the LEVI stadium. But I’d still much prefer watching my team, Swindon, at the county ground.
I really think that in the modern age this sentiment gets lost in politics and it’s sad. I wish people would get behind just disagreeing with someone else opinions instead of using insults and violence like we’re seeing today.
Keir Starmer and I disagree on many things, but good people across the political spectrum will welcome today’s verdicts, condemn these appalling attacks which seem to have been sponsored by Russia, and wish the PM and his family well.
Whatever our political differences, no one should face intimidation, threats or attacks because they hold public office.
Democracy is settled at the ballot box, not through fear or violence and definitely not through foreign interference from hostile countries.
@DanFriedman81 Absolute garbage. If your idea of quality of life is based on being able to get a waffle at 1am, or espousing the quality of Taco Bell, then believe me, I’m pretty happy where I am.
@elonmusk This is a crazy allegation to come from a man who supported the implementation of ICE agents into American cities and incite violence every step of the way. Bugger off.
@WhiskyMAGA I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed 12 WC’s during my lifetime. I don’t ever recall the people of the host country spending as much time singing the praises of their own country as actually watching the football. Can’t you just enjoy the festival like Canada and Mexico?
Bit sad that due to the stigma upheld by individuals such as Rupert Lowe and Tommy Robinson , we don’t see anyone raising English flags in the run up to the World Cup out of fear for being associated with a violent crowd of racists. Is it ok to support my country?
Ironic how people cried ‘corrupt’ after Russia and Qatar were announced as World Cup hosts. Ten silence when the US was called up. Neither the 2018 and 2022 world cups saw the hosts calling for bans on fans from a country they attacked is all I’m going to say…
Remember when this same man diminished the actions of Alex Pretti, who was standing up for another legal American citizen AFTER he was killed by ICE in January? Now the same clown decides to comment on how the UK public need to stand up to the police and Law. Bloody Hell…
JD Vance: “To every U.K. patriot who rejects the idea that defending your culture is radical, I encourage you to keep going.”
“It’s completely okay to want to live in a safe neighborhood, it's not radical.”
