@AlexJayBrady In my opinion, these individuals have relinquished their status as human beings, and we shouldn't consider them as such. I certainly don't.
Generative AI is just a giant billboard that says “I didn’t care about making the thing, but I still expect you to engage with it. I bet you can’t even tell, you idiot. Fuck you.”
I’ve never felt more deeply committed to making handmade things than I do now. ✏️
I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
The Harsh Truth about "AI Art":
People remember great artists.
Hell, people remember mediocre artists.
No one will remember a "prompt engineer" because we all intrinsically KNOW that there's no skill involved.
So make all the AI slop you want.

A few pages from #JanStrnad and #RichardCorben’s “The Last Voyage of Sinbad” from the July 1978 issue of Heavy Metal. The light in the first page looks unreal. Corben’s colour process really made his art look like nothing else out there
