Broomfield School Resource Officers are familiar faces at local schools. They work in, and visit, the schools every day for a variety of reasons. BPD Officers are often asked to speak to students about law enforcement, their patrol vehicles and uniforms, 911 and more. Less often the department's Detention Officers get the chance to share their work with kids and teens. Last week two Broomfield Detention Officers spoke to a group 2nd graders. Understandably, they had a lot of questions! 😄
