My Dad and I had the foresight to go to 3 Pac-12 stadiums last year and finish the Pac-12 stadium tour in case it all blew up after USC and UCLA left. Now I have a new conference to start touring.
@MATHnBASKETBALL@QuincyAvery The producer and writer of the song is buried and not written in the main title of the song. The credit is there, but you have to hunt for it.
Wasn't saying it should be the global standard. I am saying that North America should use NACS and Europe can use CCS2. So what if we need an adapter when we drive our cars over there. I need an adapter for all of my electronics when I go to Europe. Adapters are really not that big of a deal.
@TesCalendar1 Absolutely. Nobody likes EA and they have squandered their early lead. Ionna and Walmart are coming to the game with solid chargers that we expect to be reliable and they will have amenities and bathrooms at every location. They will even give Tesla some solid competition.
@realvalentin@loganthefrst@brandenflasch When you get rear ended, the objects on your dash get flown towards the driver. When air bags go off and the car crumples due to a forward collision, all objects on the dash will get thrown around.
@GeraldG42@brandenflasch It would cost $0 for buyers of the Foundation Series if they left FSD on the car. Paying $100 per month is less likely to result in an FSD owner than paying $0.
Tried out the future of transportation this weekend in Vegas. Boring Company Vegas Loop from Fountainbleu to Resorts World (manually driven still) and Zoox from Resorts World to MGM Grand (fully autonomous).
The Zoox made me feel a little sick due to the brake stabbing and harsh turning. It also pulled over to the side of the road on Las Vegas Blvd for seemingly no reason and then cut across 4 lanes of traffic abruptly to get to a left turn. Overall I liked the simplicity of the Zoox cabin and controls and it would be great for short trips around town if they can get the driving more comfortable; It felt like Tesla FSD from 2022 or 2023. There's very limited locations where Zoox operates predefined paths (around 10 locations) but it is free to try still. The Zoox also got stuck for a few minutes after drop off because it could not figure out how to get around another parked taxi. The car had plenty of room, but it would drive a foot, then slam the brakes, drive a few feet, then slam the brakes. Definitely still needs some testing.
Was unable to ever get a Motional Ioniq 5 by Uber despite opting in and taking around 20 rides on Uber. I saw one Motional over five days in Vegas, so it seems that they are very very early in testing.
Saw about three Waymo Ojai vehicles and no Jaguar Waymos. Testing continues and it's not open to the public. Looking likely to miss the first half of 2026 promised launch.
No Tesla Robotaxis were seen, but they are also designed to blend into the crowd and may have been testing among us. No Cybercabs seen. Likely to miss the first half of 2026 promised launch here as well.
