The media said the same thing about crime supposedly dropping under Chesa Boudin. Friends and family told me it was only Fix News propoganda that crime was worse. Some even argued that reducing prosecutions and releasing offenders early somehow made San Francisco safer. But the voters told a different story when 86% registered Democrat San Francisco voters recalled Chesa Boudin, with exit polls showing crime and public safety as the top reason. Shortly after the recall, UC Berkeley hired him as Executive Director of its Criminal Law & Justice Center.

So True. Driving without AI is Similar. There are those being driven (with greater safety for themselves and others), and there are those who still choose to drive themselves and risk others for this "perceived benefit." Eventually, all will have to accept expansion of benefits from FSD & AI in General.

My vision is that a lot of people will be drivin around in fully autonomous RVs and Lounges in the near future. I love my Chinook RV but plan to replace it with a Tesla Fully Autonomous RV when theyre available. Also, all the extra space you get without a driving cab up front will allow for a creative and more useful floorplan.

Wild Topic. Maybe the discussions about Tesla's Solar Build Out and SpaceXAI's Space Data Satellites. The wildest stuff happening are the AI Breakthroughs so I'm often asking Rex about these. My mom is a lifetime democrat and really strong on the environment so I'm often telling her what Elon/Tesla are doing with Solar and she is grateful for this.

Unlike a human driver, who is limited to two eyes and a relatively narrow field of view from the driver’s seat, Tesla FSD uses multiple cameras positioned all around the vehicle to deliver complete 360° situational awareness with no blind spots. There is a sketchy road near my house that I cross each day. Having a camera out at the front of my truck gives FSD’s neural network a view of coming cars/traffic from much further out helping avoid a major accident.

Building companies is accretive in most cases. A win win for people who consume and use the products and services for more production themselves, with a win win for most. It’s not that the leaders of these companies are billionaires and everyone else is harmed. But in fact leading their companies to expansion helps many others achieve more, not less. It’s not scarcity, it’s abundance. This mindset takes some meditation and consciousness to accept and embrace.
