I became a part-owner of Real Murcia CF 4 years ago, wanting to help bring them out of a desperate financial situation. I could have never imagined that I would get the opportunity to visit the city, stadium, and my dedicated seat in the stands. Absolutely incredible experience!
@FotMob I like the “as it stands feature” but you’ve completely removed the ability for fans to see which placing gets assigned to which games, which makes it nearly impossible to see who can end up where without cross-checking the as it stands chart with the current group placements
@australianspurs@Noobinvestor3@DuncanCastles It certainly could have interfered with decision making, but there’s no evidence that it did. Beach was not marking Balogun, nor were his movements affected by his presence.
If Beach were drawn to Balogun and and that prevented him from making a save, I would agree with you
@BergerBrakes@Niall_Not_Neil@DuncanCastles There’s about 23 players in his line of vision. Are there rules regarding how far that player has to be from the keeper that I didn’t know about?
@Niall_Not_Neil@DuncanCastles The one who makes a play on the ball is the one who interferes. Balogun never even attempts to play the ball nor does he make contact with Beach. Beach also isn’t drawn to Balogun as a distraction. The outcome is the same if Balo is not there, therefore no interference
@Noobinvestor3@DuncanCastles How does he interfere? There’s no play on the ball, no contact with Beach, and Beach isn’t drawn to Balogun as a distraction. He’s there, but the outcome of the play is the same if he’s not there. Interference can only be called if it impacts the play, so 100% correct decision
@Dylan21104124@CrewFan96_@HerrerasHermano I agree, Picard just hasn’t quite found his footing in that position but I think he could. He’s definitely best out wide, which is why I think he’s one of the only players who don’t benefit from the coaching change. There’s potential, but I wouldn’t want him to be the only one
@Dylan21104124@CrewFan96_@HerrerasHermano I hope not. But i’m not sure I trust Picard there. He excelled with a traditional fullback ahead of him and i’m worried about the defensive aspect of him playing as a full time LWB.
@Dylan21104124@CrewFan96_@HerrerasHermano Yeah that wouldn’t be bad, plus Ruvalcaba. My main concern is the LWB position, especially if Arfsten leaves. That would leave us with 3 on the rigor and nobody on the left, which would force Lennon into an immediate starting role if we don’t bring someone in
@Dylan21104124@CrewFan96_@HerrerasHermano True, but I feel like unless we lose Farsi or Lennon isn’t planned as a RWB (unlikely given that’s what he introduced himself as), then we’d be better off committing to proper CB depth rather than a hybrid guy who can play there but isn’t ideal for the position.
@phonzy_era@otjsportss@iMiaSanMia What i’m saying is that the qualifications of a captain come less from the peak of where you’ve played, and more from the amount of experience and those leadership qualities that we don’t always see
