Got to hang with The Catfish™, AKA the catchers of @GoShockersBSB 🐟

Taking their name from working in the mud below the strike zone, @collin_wilber and his guys pride themselves on doing the dirty work ⬇️

Jackson Kirchner (‘28 TX) catches all of this pitch sending it over the wall in left for a 3-run 💣; gets some strong rotation in the lower half in this swing. #WWBAWorlds @Texas_PG @PG_Uncommitted

Pat Murphy began his coaching career at DIII Maryville College.

After 6 years at the DIII level, he talked his way into the head coach job at Notre Dame, spending 7 years there before taking over at Arizona State, leading ASU to the college World Series 4 times in 15 years.

He then spent 5 years coaching in the minor leagues for the Padres before being named to the Brewers Major league staff, taking over as manager in 2024.

In his tenure as a big league manager, he’s twice (likely with a 3rd on the way) won manager of the year, became the first coach to lead a team to the CWS and MLB World Series, became the oldest manager to make his World Series debut and now is a World Series champion, bringing Milwaukee their first title.

What a journey for Pat Murphy

“Worrying is a waste of time” - Pat Murphy

Focus on the now, the present. Control what you can control.

I knew a hitting coach who worked with a few big league teams and he always said he spent more time building confidence than he did talk about approach or mechanics

[Coach Cord Flory @CordFlory]

Great competitor. Doesn’t matter if he is in the field, at the dish, or on the bump the dude gets after it.

[Ethan Tipple @Ethan_Tipple]

Pitched on our National team this weekend. Pitched a complete game 7 IP with 12 K's in 89 pitches. Had 2 walks and 5 hits with 0 ER. Also, went 1 for 2 on the day with a liner to left field for a single. @LoneStarBrewers @MatadorBSB13 @CordFlory @DaltonRod44 @__davila1 @TyKenney7

Big time competitor on the bump. Going to be a huge lift to somebody’s program.

Great week in Jupiter on the mound. Had 2 appearances going 6 1/3 innings allowing no hits, no runs, 5ks and only 1 BB. @MatadorBSB13 @CordFlory
