The foundational steps to complete this process have been put in place for the past 6 weeks by their teacher, @cgibbsteach. They are ready!
Shout out to Mr. Gibbs! His students have demonstrated tremendous progress in the past six weeks. He is implementing Core Connections 500%, and I’m so very proud of the results. @cgibbsteach
@cgibbsteach is working so hard to teach his students to think critically. Elaborative thinking is key in writing instruction. We need more teachers like Chris!
First sorting lesson of the school year! I’m so very proud of this Volusia County teacher. He’s working so hard to help his students become deep thinkers and proficient writers!
@nigel36796017 With respect, Nigel, we are a private company and have nothing to do with paying teachers. We don’t work for districts. Schools bring us in to do everything we can to make teachers jobs easier in regards to teaching writing. We wish we had a day in teacher pay!

3- Move their sticky notes into the evidence boxes to support each central idea.
Welcome back!
I’m just finishing up a week with working with Orange County teachers, and it has been so motivating! We are working hard to establish writing routines from day one. We WILL build strong, effective communicators by the end of the school year! JUST WAIT!
Core Connections had the privilege of presenting at the ILA conference in Orlando two years ago. We were so honored to be presenters and participants. @ILAToday

An elementary school psychologist shares her take on these resilience strategies: “I remember walking out and thinking I can use this tomorrow. I don't have to wait. I don't have to prepare anything. I don't have to make anything. I can just do it.”
