Many people think they need to make money through trading.
THIS IS WHERE THEY GET WRONG.
Their actual job is to follow their systems/edge without thinking about the OUTCOME.
Today took my first trade on my new account.
Waited for an entry on XAUUSD in asian session but missed it.
Then took two entries on GBPJPY but both of them were hit my SL.
And on my second trade I opened half lots.
Happy that I followed my rules. Even tho today was red day.
This weekend learned some basics of my strategy again.
Got some clarity and my confidence back that I almost lost after blowing up my accounts.
Next week will give my best.
No trades for me today.
Not every day needs a trade.
The market didn't give me my setup, so I didn't force one.
Discipline is knowing when NOT to trade.
That's the edge most people miss.
Most traders don’t lose because their strategy sucks.
They lose because they abandon a profitable edge after 3 losing trades.
Weak hands call variance failure.
