@nighttime1998@Pirat_Nation It is a Dev issue (mostly) the engine is not meant to be used out of the box like some of these companies are doing, the studio is meant to tweak the engine towards their game since every game works differently. It’s why games like Expedition33/Fortnite run well and others are 💩
@nikgeneburn Kinda wish the quests weren’t locked too since it’s going to cause more problems when everyone is funnelled to the same tasks such as ‘Fishing Gear’ when (as far as I know) the only way to get multiple SV-98s is a barter for about 5 packs of cigarettes (stash space is struggling)
@Airwingmarine1 This wipe is far far from perfect but ye obviously buying more space is beneficial but not necessary, half of the stuff people are collecting aren’t needed for a while especially with quests being locked. EFT community really reminds me of Destiny 2s community here.
@OnepegMG Now it’s only hardcore if you don’t own Arena further pushing people away from the game, I’m convinced there’s not a single thought behind these changes.
@tarkov annnnnd the wipe is over. Is there literally no thought behind these changes, ‘Hardcore’ wipe yet you can get better gear/ammo than most players by not even playing the game
@destinytrack I’ve played them all and this seems to be the most repetitive, spent the last few hours just turning into a ball and then rocket launching circles, it feels like something deliberately designed to waste time rather than be engaging
@NoiceGuy_ Persistent raids would be so cool, it also brings back that randomness to Tarkov since you wouldn’t know how many people are in raid too. Plus you’d get into a new raid with transit much faster
@stankRat_@nikgeneburn Glad more people are speaking up about this, I genuinely think transits will single handedly “kill” this wipe if the maps aren’t unlocked sometime soon
@Pestily It’s the transitions for me, it just doesn’t work on Tarkov, it’s a miserable experience having to do quests on any map outside the base 3. Apart from that the other changes I quite enjoy.
@nikgeneburn@FriendlyGuyTTV I love to see Tarkov become more hardcore and to its roots but I think the transition system is going to make a lot of raids feel empty later in the wipe due to people moving to other maps for quests as for the rest of changes I’m personally happy with.
@RealTigz The transit system is a huge turn off, I do enjoy the rest but having to slug through an entire map (sometimes two) to get to another map is horrible and even worse once quests are in the mix
@Pestily Extract/Transition camping has shot up, I think this could be such a good wipe but I do fear there’s much more incentive for cheaters and extract campers. I’m still not sold on the map restrictions though
@chibirobo12 This is the whole purpose of having difficulty selection, anyone who wants the extra challenge picks those people who just wanna play more casual can do the lesser ones and you can tune the drop rates to balance it.
@Flauzino_FLZ First half of the campaign felt a little dragged imo but the final half was amazing especially the last mission, the season is a different story for me but I don’t let that taint how good this expansion really is.
@ddofinternet Easy money, people stick to what they know is already good and it’s easier for them making it since they don’t have to create a whole new concept
