@_joshyoung@JoshYohe_PGH@DisposablEnsign I am making this about Belgium, yes. I'll concede that. But I'm not gonna say that I support what Trump did. You, on the other hand, are making excuses for Belgium and making it all about Trump. It's all about how things look. Perception. And yes, Belgium dogwalked the US. ๐คทโโ๏ธ So?
@_joshyoung@JoshYohe_PGH@DisposablEnsign I can personally attest that beating an opponent who was missing their key players just never feels as good as winning against them at their full strength... or losing to them at their full strength. Winning against a crippled or incomplete team doesn't feel good at all.
@RisemovieDaily@ib63319 But he WASN'T a Targaryen. He was Valerion (accept he wasn't even true Valerion, because he was still a bastard). Jace and Luke, and her youngest, Joffrey, were her sons that she passed off as her first husband, Laenor's, sons. So, by law, they were Valerion. Not Targaryen.
@ib63319 You're applying modern, real-world views of men and women upon a fantasy medieval world? ๐คจ In the world of GOT and HOTD, legitimacy runs through proper marriage and the father's name. Not the mother. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Thatโs why Raeneyra's boys were always gonna be Valerions, not Targaryens.
@TheRizzlerjwca@BasedMikeLee He's acknowledging that. He's saying it needs to be amended, which is the proper way to change the Constitution. I'm happy they upheld the 14th Amendment today. But, if somebody says "then we'll have to amend it" then my response is, "as is your right... to try."
@RepJackKimble@VegasGKVegasR Nobody living ratified the Second Amendment either. And yet, we, as conservatives, defend it adamantly. Should that be torn up too? ๐คจ Matthew 23:13 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"
@AngelaBelcamino The Founding Fathers decided upon it. Those who argue that it flies in the face of modern issues have to defend that same argument against the Second Amendment, which mostly pertained to musket rifles. I defend Birthright Citizenship the same way I defend 2A.
@elenacute01 This is AI. Notice how after he unhooks the leash (from the outside of the door...?) that he embraces the dog, and the ceiling of the subway station is still moving while the floor underneath their feet is not...?
@YourAnonNews I think it's very telling that she's crying over her dog, and you have seven or eight cops crowded together talking to one another (getting their story straight?)... and not one is consoling the woman. This is why people don't have faith. It's how situations are handled after...
@DrDinD@mediaandcomms@SFGiants@GrantBrisbee Indifference is just about minding your own business. And I think, to a certain extent, that's what I think most of these people who get tired of stuff being thrust in their faces mean when they mention "indifference". I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with their point. (2/2)
@DrDinD@mediaandcomms@SFGiants@GrantBrisbee Indifference is not intolerance. In fact, i would argue that "indifference" is VERY tolerant. For example, I am almost always indifferent to what is going on over in my neighbor's yard or inside their house (I live in a city). I can be indifferent to what rural people do. (1/2)
@rafoghorn702@unlimited_ls God serves as the final judgement. It is up to us to forgive, as Jesus said, not for the betterment of the one who whom we forgive, but for the betterment of ourselves. Because forgiveness does help to alleviate bitterness and resentment within us.
@Ben_Yoel No baseball, then. There was a time that we'd never heard of any of these players. And there are players we've currently never heard yet who who will be MLB players someday when these guys are gone by the way of the dodo bird. Players come and go. The game itself needs fixed.
@ClaytonHaw@GuntherEagleman To be fair, putting up merchandise on a website is different than doing a big thing of it at the stadium. Merch purchases are private, and wearing merch is a personal choice. But making a thing of it at the stadium is forcing it down our throats. I have no issues with the merch.
