@BradRad5Bradley Security is better now, cameras are EVERYWHERE on the ship. Passengers and crew have a card that has to be scanned every time you enter and leave the ship. Of course it's not all bad on ships, there are good people too and I did make great memories, but I'm sorry about Amy.

@BradRad5Bradley I began to write out the name and immediately got nervous about whether I'd get into trouble, even though I don't work on ships now. But, if you talk to any one who has worked on board a ship (as I'm sure you have many times now), every ship will have a similar kind of story.

@BradRad5Bradley And another thing, security are also sketchy! Some good eggs, some not so good! They often try to pick up passengers and crew members, mainly in the passenger disco. They’ll tip one of the cabin stewards to find them an empty passenger cabin.

@BradRad5Bradley I really wish I had something helpful, but my experience on ships only lasted 2022-2023 and I worked for a different cruise line. However, just from what I saw and experienced alone, it wouldn’t surprise me if the crew and the cruise director knew a lot more than they let on!

@BradRad5Bradley they’re so many other stories of the same ilk. I learnt quickly to keep my wits about me and no longer slip into a “damsel in distress” on a ship. In conclusion, whilst I have nothing useful to contribute to finding Amy, I wanted to share that I sympathise + don’t trust the crew.

@BradRad5Bradley 1. Having worked on cruise ships as a young female musician, this doc sent me chills, because almost 30 years on and I can say that cruise ships do not feel much safer for women, despite more technology. The narcissistic cruise director reminded me of all the ones I encountered!
