@THELETSGOsCOCO That's still my favourite Let's Go's song, even if I can't pronounce it correctly. Mariko asked me what my favourite Let's Go's song was, I told her, and she had no idea what I'd said.
And yes, I am in the "still hate getting up in the morning" club too, when I'm working. 6:45am
@tuk_imi I will be in Osaka on the 13th of September, and would love to go to the show - but sadly buying a ticket without a Japanese phone number is nearly impossible. I will have to hope I can pay at the door.
@goodbyefriend There's a much bigger alt/rock/punk scene in Japan (again, dwarfed by J-Pop). For personal favourites - Aburina Town https://t.co/9biUbbDvrK, Tokyo Syoki Syodo https://t.co/D7pcZUbUdK, Junky 58% https://t.co/goeJn47swP, but there's a whole world of bands there.
@goodbyefriend The scene is Korea is fairly small, as K-Pop dominates. One of the bigger bands is Rux, who Yeawon, the Rumkicks singer, was in for a while. One band I like (different style) is 18Fevers, who are good friends with Rumkicks. A hardcore band, Slant, also get a lot of attention.
@THELETSGOsCOCO Honestly, never underestimate how much people enjoy what you do. They may come for the music, but they also leave appreciating all that you do to make the day as perfect as can be, all done with a smile, and charming humility. Thank you always.
@manaSTRAIGHT I love the way it was recorded to sound like a 1960s recording. How did you do it? Old recording technology? Computer effects? I have never heard a cover of an old song recorded that way.
@THELETSGOs@THELETSGOsCOCO@manaSTRAIGHT@AMECHAN_TK I hope you are enjoying the UK. If you drive up to Scotland today, the first two hours won't be that interesting, but once you get to around Lancaster, the roads empty and the scenery becomes beautiful and dramatic. Enjoy!
@THELETSGOsCOCO I hope you enjoy your time in the UK as much as I am enjoying another trip to Japan. The owner of Hair of the Dog bar in Golden Gai recognised me, and played The Let's Go's.
