It’s only right to say that Hearts had some terrible decisions go their way and Celtic had some terrible ones go against them but everything about the Kyziridis and Nicholson incidents is even wilder now that we’ve heard the ‘communication’ and Willie Collum’s ‘explanation’.

🟢 "It's been seeded in football culture that fans run on football pitches is acceptable... and it is no longer."
🤯 "Your fans run on that pitch like it was the first Premiership they'd ever won."
Simon Jordan analyses Martin O'Neill's comments on Celtic's pitch invasion.
Craig Gordon is remarkable. In Scotland squad at 43. As a goalkeeper he obviously enjoys longevity but still to be active, and heading to a World Cup a third of the way through his fifth decade, is impressive. Gordon made his Scotland debut aged 21 against Trinidad & Tobago in a team that included - *deep breath* *checks notes of outfield players* - Steven Pressley, who has now been in management for 15 years; Gary Caldwell now in management for 10 years; Richard Hughes who stopped playing 12 years ago and is now sporting director at Liverpool; Malky Mackay who retired as a player 18 years ago and is now sporting director at Hibs.
Again, Gordon’s position affords longevity, but his hunger and professionalism are admirable. If he plays, Gordon will become the second oldest World Cup participant after Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El Hadary (45 years and 161 days at Russia 2018) whose gloves have been exhibited in the FIFA World Cup Museum.
@ScottishNT_army@scotball_ O’Donnell has been outstanding and could have been in ahead of Ralston (or as well as), Calvin Miller looked good this season too and Harry Milne should have been in as he’s been really good. Can play anywhere too!!
From an Australian football perspective, this Celtic/Hearts situation matters even more with Aussie involvement at Hearts. 🇦🇺🏴
If the reports are accurate and the match abandonment stemmed from Celtic supporter actions, then Scottish football authorities should apply the rules exactly as written. No grey area, no special treatment.
Rules are there to protect the integrity of the competition, and if responsibility lies with one side’s supporters, the outcome should reflect that. That would mean Hearts of Midlothian being awarded the result.
With Australian eyes closely following our players abroad, consistency and accountability in major leagues matter. The badge involved shouldn’t change how regulations are enforced.
"Hearts called it an embarrassment to Scottish football. Do you agree that it was?"
Martin O'Neill: "I don't believe that. I just don't believe it. I think it's nonsense."
Hearts fans applaud their team’s magnificent effort in defeat with a rousing reception at Tynecastle.
Meanwhile, Celtic fans fight among themselves, with the police and trash their own city in victory.
Success in any walk of life doesn’t bring class. 🇱🇻
