I'm black american, and I believe delineation is necessary. We are americans, to quote Clarence Thomas, "we were americans before we were citizens." That being said, the reparations argument has become childish. If we're asking for upward mobility, then let's work on our communities instead of blaming yt's all the time. There is an estimated group of 1.2 millionaires that are black americans, 3.6 million upper middle class black americans. One of the key factors in their stability is they have intact families.

I could care less, Slick rick is a legend in hiphop. Most old school rappers was doing way too much. LL cool j supposedly walked in defjam offices wearing cowboy boots, grand master flash and the furious five, and africa Bambaata used to dress like the village people. Rick was obviously influenced by the locals in the hood, but his jewelry game was matched by big daddy kane.

You're not "black enough" unless you embrace victimhood and blame white people for everything.
