@rohan_connolly It's a no-brainer. If Longmire is available and keen, then we have to grab him. No club has had a stronger culture and consistency of performance than the Swans under Longmire.
@CraiG_Mc Would be ecstatic if Longmire got the job. We need someone who will build a robust gameplan, demands immediate respect and will attract free agents/keep existing talent.
@berniemcc2013@karlstefanovic Maybe, but at least first home buyers will be competing on an even keel, as opposed to the current situation (as explained by Karl) where investors are having their affordability partly subsidised by tax benefits.
@AngusTaylorMP This is some seriously crazy stuff. @HonTonyAbbott was dumped from one of the LNP's safest seats because of his outdated and hard right wing views. The same views that have resulted in multiple independent MP's sitting in the current parliament.
Yes he is the answer ๐
@clairlemon Yeah Except you know that this statement "confiscate 47% of the capital gains of every business person in the country" is just not true.
The small business CGT concessions still exist and for small business the tax paid is more likely to be 0% than 47%.
@Celebchaser@ScooterMcNeice Couldnโt agree more. Longmire, Hinkley and a raft of experienced assistants are out there and need to be considered on merit, not emotion. Also think him doing that interview taints the โprocessโ he talks of.
@JasonGFalinski@ajamesbragg I'm an accountant Jason and I can tell you that "we get some of it, they keep a lot of it", is total BS.
The alternative is, we scrap super and our age pension payments explode in the next couple of generations.
@ajamesbragg What is your issue with this @ajamesbragg, and it is not Paul Keating's super funds, it is every sinlge Australian who has money in super.
