🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Sec. Marco Rubio just OBLITERATED Sen. Rosen (D)'s lies
ROSEN: You were at a PARTY instead of helping JD Vance negotiate with Iran!
RUBIO: "You don't know what you're TALKING ABOUT! I know your staff wrote up this CUTE statement for TikTok, but it's NOT TRUE. And it's not real. That's NOT what happened."
"I was not at a party. If people are going to SLANDER me. I'm going to answer it!"
"You're 100% inaccurate and 100% wrong. Here's why. Number one, the vice president of the United States was there...Mr. Witkoff, the president's envoy, and Mr. Kushner, were the team [Trump] sent to Pakistan. I was NOT at a party. I was next to the PRESIDENT."
"Because in the midst of those negotiations, I was in communications with them. And in fact, I think there is media reporting from that evening on how multiple occasions I went into a back room. I came back out and spoke to the president and was constantly updating him."
"On that evening, I spoke to Mr. Kushner and our negotiating team and Mr. Witkoff on at least SIX occasions, including twice on a secure line from the phone they had access to over there!"
"I'm the national security advisor and secretary of state. I was co-located with the president in the midst of a high stakes negotiation so that I could immediately inform him about events occurring halfway around the world."
"I was where I needed to be at that moment because we had a very capable team on the ground in Pakistan, led by the vice president, led by the vice president of the United States."

At our Relief Center for Refugees, we offer a lot of tangible things in the form of food, medicine and clothing, but possibly the most important is unseen in the shape of HOPE for each person we see.
One of the best parts of mission is seeing and hearing the impact a service trip has on volunteers who come and serve with us. Last summer, Novalee came on mission with Corner of Love and had this to share: “After thinking about my experience with Corner of Love, one thing I was taught is that many people take for granted what was easily given to them. The hope and confidence the refugees showed was inspiring to see, they were so confident in the Lord’s provision. My favorite thing I heard was when I asked a woman to pray, asking her if it was okay if I prayed in English, she said “God is still the same no matter which way you pray” and that will stay with me for years to come.”
Join us in praying for Costa Rica as the nation’s citizens go to the polls tomorrow to elect a new president. The presidential campaign launched here on October 1, 2025 and culminates tomorrow. Polls will be open from 6AM to 6PM and all citizens must show their national identity card known as the Cédula de Identidad in order to vote. Voters must be 18 years of age, vote in person, and be citizens of Costa Rica in order to vote. The vast majority of refugees and displaced people served by Corner of Love cannot participate in any elections in Costa Rica due to the mandatory requirement of Costa Rican national ID, though most greatly appreciate Costa Rica’s strong democracy and history of uninterrupted governance. It is widely regarded as one of the most stable democracies in the developing world with an extremely strong commitment to the rule of law.
For many refugees, their journey has meant leaving loved ones behind. One woman told us: “I am crying for my children. I left behind my 9 children in Nicaragua. My husband was beating me for years. He macheted my arm and my stomach. I have had several strokes and my eye is now paralyzed. I have nothing left.”
Join us in making a difference for refugees by ordering a warm pollo asado-style take-out dinner from #CornerOfLove. All you have to do is text us your order, then you pick up in Kingwood on March 19th. TEXT: (346) 610-3009 and help #CornerOfLove today 😊
Your tax-deductible donation goes far with every refugee we see - while every dollar goes toward basic needs like medical and dental care, the real intangible is hope where there maybe was none before visiting us.
You can’t literally see hope, but when you give to Corner of Love we can see hope in the eyes of every refugee who visits us in the shape of medical or dental treatment, food and God’s kindness.
“My church was extremely poor but my entire church family knew scripture so well. Out here, on the road, I replay their hymns and bible lessons in my head,” said a refugee woman from Leon, Nicaragua.
You can’t buy hope, but your donation can go a long way in filling a tired refugee’s heart with newfound hope. Every dollar that you give to Corner of Love makes a difference in someone’s life!
Corner of Love volunteers wear many hats - one second you might be filling pharmacy bags, the next you might be a colouring buddy. There’s no experience like it! 💕🖍️
“God! Help me get back to La Dalia!” cried one refugee woman. “I hate it here but I know it’s about being safe. I just want to go home to La Dalia!”
La Dalia is a town and the municipal seat of the El Tuma-La Dalia municipality in the Matagalpa Department of Nicaragua. It’s located approximately 175 kilometers northeast of Managua and 45 kilometers northeast of Matagalpa city, in the northern highlands region of Nicaragua. The refugee woman found herself in La Cruz, a border town close to beaches, so different than her hometown of La Dalia, Nicaragua, known for its mountainous views and coffee-growing areas.
Back in 2006-2010 #CornerOfLove held Nica Dinners events to raise funds for healthcare brigades in Nicaragua. Fast forward to 2026, we are once again building a clinic and we’ll be having a Chimmi Chimmi Chicken take-out dinners event on March 19th to support our mission. #SaveTheDate
Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we solemnly mark the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau—the largest Nazi concentration and extermination camp—on January 27, 1945. We pause to remember those who suffered and perished under unimaginable evil. As followers of Christ, we affirm that every life is made in God’s image, and we are called to stand firmly against hatred in all its forms. ✝️
'Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.' — Isaiah 1:17
May we never forget. May we never be silent. Lord, give us courage to pursue justice and be Your light. #HolocaustRemembranceDay #81Years #NeverForget #SeekJustice

Displaced refugees who come to us are facing new trials every day. We are grateful for your prayer partnership with us that makes room for God to work as in this verse from Romans 12:12 ~ “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
