A sunny day here at Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary is pure bliss - plenty of shady places to sit back and relax, surrounded by amazing wildlife and beautiful sub-tropical gardens, with benches at various places throughout the Park. 📷📷📷
Proud parents Edwina & Anthony are being wonderfully attentive as they feed their chick. Anthony is doing the feeding here, and he really does seem to have that proud, happy parent look. 😀

You can also see the dark fur on the neck of this little one, which was caused during feeding time when the 'crop milk' fed by the parents ran down its neck. The chick seems to have got the hang of feeding now so this will go over time.

Visitors enjoying seeing & getting photos of the new flamingo chick 🦩
The chick is being reared by its parents in the flamingo lagoon, it's just feet from a path with perfect viewing. Sometimes when Edwina or Anthony are sitting, the chick will be out of sight for a while.
Please enjoy this beautiful video of our very cute flamingo chick, hatched by parents Edwina and Anthony. 🦩
You can clearly see the yellowish egg tooth at this stage.

One moment, our flamingos are glaring at each other guarding their territory; the next, they’re completely calm, quietly preening. These clips were filmed just before the recent two eggs were laid.
