Es propiedad del Estado y está dirigido desde la oficina del presidente porque su programa de giras internacionales de orquestas ofrecía la máquina de propaganda perfecta, en la era de las redes sociales, para difundir la ideología de una «Revolución» creada a imagen de Castro.

Se estima que se inyectaron 2.000 millones de dólares al famoso programa musical a lo largo de la existencia del régimen, y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo otorgó más de 100 millones de dólares en préstamos para la construcción de centros musicales que nunca llegaron a construirse. La llamada presidenta interina, la criminal Delcy Rodríguez, todavía forma parte de la junta directiva de El Sistema junto con el hijo de Maduro.

La Embajada de Estados Unidos en Caracas acaba de anunciar que El Sistema recibirá 57 millones de dólares de financiación del Gobierno de Estados Unidos. Dejemos esto claro: el departamento de propaganda del régimen venezolano, dirigido por algunas de las personas más corruptas del país, está recibiendo 57 millones de dólares de los contribuyentes estadounidenses para mantenerlo, mientras organizaciones artísticas estadounidenses se enfrentan a la desaparición. Los venezolanos están expresando hoy su indignación masiva porque, mientras sufren hambre, falta de medicamentos, un sistema hospitalario colapsado y las secuelas de dos terremotos históricamente devastadores, el gigantesco negocio fraudulento llamado El Sistema vuelve a ser, una vez más, seleccionado para recibir apoyo.
