Across Africa, women remain some of the most financially excluded groups.
Many still can’t access formal banking, face higher borrowing barriers, and depend on systems that limit their economic freedom. Yet women are the backbone of markets, households, and entire communities.
So what happens when they finally get access to open, borderless money that anyone can use—anytime, anywhere?
Join us for a focused conversation on “Bitcoin’s Role in Empowering Women in Africa.”
We’ll explore the real stories, real challenges, and real opportunities shaping women’s financial independence across the continent with @pameelaposada , a Bitcoin-only YouTube Strategist who is empowering women to build financial freedom through Bitcoin communities with @SistersoSatoshi and around Latin America.
Whether you care about economic empowerment, financial inclusion, or the future of money—this is a room you should not miss.

So also the body is sown (buried) in corruption but raised in incorruption
Sown in dishonor , raised in glory
Sown in weakness , raised in power
Buried as a natural body , raised a spiritual body
The finished work of Christ ✝️
Praise be!

Today, history was made on the floor of the House of Representatives when I symbolically allowed a 16-year-old advocate, Ms. Isabel Anani, to preside over the plenary session, enabling her to conduct the session, the first of its kind in the history of the House of Representatives.
It is part of the celebration for this year's International Day for the Girl Child. Women's inclusion and participation in governance is at the heart of the 10th House Legislative Agenda.
Before yielding my seat, I shared a message of hope with the House: Honourable Members, on this October 10th, we stand in solidarity with the global community, recognizing the challenges girls face while honouring their resilience, creativity, and capacity to shape a brighter, more equitable world.
The House is delighted to introduce Ms Isabel Anani, our 'Speaker for the Day,' an exceptional young leader and dedicated champion of girls' empowerment.
As a pioneering voice on Nigeria's Technical Working Group for Adolescent Health and Wellbeing and UNICEF Young Influencer, Isabel's passion ignites positive change. Selected through a rigorous nationwide search, Isabel's leadership exemplifies the power of youth.
As she shadows the Rt. Hon. Speaker today, her remarkable journey will undoubtedly inspire. Let us recognize Isabel's achievement and celebrate the unwavering spirit of Nigerian girls who courageously pursue their dreams despite adversity.
It is our way of encouraging tomorrow's leaders. I believe the young ones need mentoring as they prepare to take the mantle of leadership from my generation.

The animals she’s talking about know themselves. Thankfully one of them is there 😂
@NigeriaStories I remember this story like it was yesterday? Why? Cause it filled the front page of a newspaper, and I read every detail. DNA was done at least THRICE and it proved that the man was the biological father. Hence why it was termed "a miracle bible"
SHE DIDN'T CHEAT ON HIM!
